Kieni West is a GOA home in Eastern Kenya, near the Aberdare Mountains. The home was founded by the late Bishop Daniel Macharia in January, 2004. His vision was born out of compassionate heart for the suffering orphans and destitute children in their church.
After Bishop’s death, his wife Lydia took over the job of taking care of the children. Since then she has been through tough times trying to raise funds for the needs of the children. She appealed to GOA for help, and since 0ctober, 2009 it is an official GOA home.
